Compare the Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Naga and Coral Snake Gorgon on character lore, display role, and budget so you can pick the right serpent figure for your collection.
Quick answer
Choose the Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Naga if you want a scheming Serpent Druid who works as a faction leader or political power broker in your display. Choose the Coral Snake Gorgon if you prefer a more visually aggressive serpent figure and already know how you want to care for and pose it. The Naga is the stronger standalone purchase for collectors who build narratives around intrigue rather than brute force.
The core trade-off: manipulator vs. monster
These two serpent figures serve different roles in a collection. The Naga is defined by its lore as a secretive power broker—a character who shapes treaties and arranged marriages from behind the scenes. The Coral Snake Gorgon is a more direct, creature-forward design. If your shelf tells stories through factions and politics, the Naga gives you a figure that anchors that kind of narrative. If you want a serpent that reads as a threat the moment someone looks at it, the Gorgon is the more immediate choice.
Neither figure is inherently better; the decision comes down to whether you want a character who operates through influence or one who operates through presence.
What the Naga brings to a display
The Naga's catalog description emphasizes intelligence, political acumen, and long lifespan—traits that make it a natural centerpiece for a trade meeting, treaty negotiation, or faction-leader setup. That lore also means the figure pairs well with other characters rather than standing alone. If you already collect multiple Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. figures, the Naga can serve as the connective character who gives your display a power structure.
Where the Coral Snake Gorgon fits
The Coral Snake Gorgon is a distinct design with its own care and display considerations, covered separately in our care and display guide. Because that figure has specific handling and display needs, it rewards collectors who have already planned their setup. If you are still deciding how to pose and protect your figures, the Gorgon may require more forethought than the Naga, which is a more straightforward character piece.
Price and value context
The Naga's catalog price of USD 17.63 (compared with a USD 27.99 comparison price) makes it an accessible entry point for collectors curious about serpent characters in the line. That lower price does not mean lower importance in a display—it simply means you can add the Naga without committing a large portion of your figure budget. If budget is a deciding factor, the Naga is the easier first purchase, leaving room to add the Gorgon later.
Trade-offs to weigh before you buy
- Narrative role: The Naga's lore centers on manipulation and politics, so it works best when displayed alongside other characters. The Coral Snake Gorgon is a more self-contained creature design that reads clearly on its own. If you display figures in groups, the Naga adds more story; if you display single pieces, the Gorgon is more immediately legible.
- Display preparation: The Coral Snake Gorgon has specific care and display needs covered in our dedicated guide. The Naga does not carry those same documented requirements, making it the simpler figure to place and maintain. Budget time for research if you choose the Gorgon; the Naga is ready for a standard display setup.
- Budget impact: The Naga's catalog price is USD 17.63 against a USD 27.99 comparison price, while the Coral Snake Gorgon's price is not listed in the supplied catalog facts. Check the current product page before deciding. The Naga is the lower-risk first purchase if you want to try a serpent figure before committing more.
