A zombie-themed 24-day advent calendar with two exclusive 1:18 figures and over 60 pieces. Here's what collectors can expect before buying.

Quick answer

The Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Deluxe Advent Calendar is a 24-day zombie-themed set that builds two exclusive 1:18 scale figures and includes dozens of accessories—over 60 pieces total. It's a strong pick if you want a holiday countdown that adds playable parts to your H.A.C.K.S. collection rather than candy or trinkets.

What makes this different from a standard advent calendar

Most advent calendars are disposable—you open a door, get a treat, and the packaging goes in the bin. This one is built around a buildable outcome: the pieces behind the doors assemble into two complete figures. That changes the daily ritual from a quick snack to a short assembly session, and it gives you a reason to keep the box and the parts after December.

The zombie Christmas theme is carried through the packaging as well: a specially written Zombie Christmas Poem appears only on the inside cover. If you enjoy the storytelling side of H.A.C.K.S. releases, that poem is a small but genuine exclusive.

Who it suits—and who should skip it

This calendar is aimed at collectors who already enjoy the 1:18 scale H.A.C.K.S. line and want a holiday-themed addition that fits into their existing display or play. Because the two figures are exclusive to the calendar, it also appeals to completists who don't want to miss a release.

If you're shopping for a child who expects candy or a small toy behind every door, this isn't that kind of calendar—the reward is cumulative, not instant. And if you don't collect 1:18 scale figures, the accessories and figures may not integrate with what you already own.

Price and value considerations

At the catalog price of USD 56.38 (compared with a listed comparison price of USD 89.49), the set works out to roughly under a dollar per piece if you count the 60+ components. That's a reasonable way to think about value for a collector-oriented calendar, though the real test is whether you'll use the figures and accessories beyond the 24 days.

Keep in mind that the calendar is a seasonal product. If you miss it during the holiday window, availability may become limited, and the exclusive figures aren't sold separately as far as the supplied information shows.

Common questions about the H.A.C.K.S. Advent Calendar

What exactly is behind each door?: Each door contains pieces that build toward two exclusive figures, plus accessories. The set is designed so that the 24 days assemble into a complete pair of figures by the end, not a random mix of unrelated items. Plan to open it daily rather than all at once if you want the build-up experience.
Are the figures and accessories exclusive?: Yes—the calendar includes two exclusive figures and dozens of exclusive accessories that are not part of the standard H.A.C.K.S. lineup. The Zombie Christmas Poem is also exclusive to the inside cover. If you collect H.A.C.K.S. exclusives, this is the only way to get these specific figures.
Is it suitable for kids or only adult collectors?: The zombie theme and the buildable nature lean toward older kids and adult collectors. There's no candy, and the reward is cumulative, so younger children may lose interest before the figures are complete. Consider the recipient's patience with a 24-day build, not just their interest in zombies.
How does the 1:18 scale fit with other H.A.C.K.S. figures?: The calendar is part of the Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. line, which is 1:18 scale. That means the figures and accessories are sized to work with other H.A.C.K.S. figures and playsets you may already own. Check your existing collection's scale before buying if you plan to mix parts.
What's the best way to use it as a collector?: You can open it day by day through December as intended, or open it in one session if you want to inspect all pieces immediately. Either way, keep the box—the inside cover poem and the packaging are part of the exclusive presentation. Store the opened pieces in a bag or tray so small accessories don't get lost between days.
