Popeye Classics Actiefiguur: Popeye de Zeeman

The joints on this one are surprisingly smooth for a figure this size, so I can pose him mid-punch or leaning on his pipe without any wobble. The comic-strip face, especially that squint and jaw, makes me grin every time I glance at my shelf.

The classic Segar art style is captured perfectly here, and the sailor hat sits just right on his head. I've been waiting for a Popeye with this level of detail for years and he looks fantastic next to my other vintage comic figures.

The articulation on this one is genuinely impressive—every joint moves smoothly, so I can pose him mid-spin with his fist cocked back. The classic Segar comic inspiration really shows in the face sculpt, too, and he stands solid on the shelf without tipping over.
