Discover what's inside the Knight of Accord Mini Gear Kit, how it enhances your display, and whether it's worth adding to your Mighty Steeds collection.
Quick Answer
The Mighty Steeds Knight of Accord Mini Gear Kit includes a lance, shield, and helmet, fully painted to match the Knight of Accord figures and Tack Kit. It's a budget-friendly way to complete your jousting display.
What's in the Kit and Why It Matters
The Knight of Accord Mini Gear Kit is designed as a complement to the Knight of Accord Tack Kit, giving your figure everything needed for a jousting competition. The included lance, shield, and helmet are fully painted to match the existing Knight of Accord figures and Tack Kit, ensuring a cohesive look.
For collectors, the appeal is completing the scene. The lance is essential for a jousting pose, the shield adds protection detail, and the helmet provides an alternate display option. Since it's a mini accessory kit, it's sized for the Mighty Steeds figures, not for larger action figures.
Compatibility and Age Consideration
This kit is specifically designed for the Mighty Steeds line, so it won't fit other action figure lines. The mini gear is intended for adult collectibles, with a recommended age of 12 and up due to small parts. If you're buying for a younger child, this isn't suitable.
The painted finish matches the Knight of Accord figures, but if you have other Mighty Steeds figures, the color scheme may not match perfectly. Check your existing collection to ensure visual consistency.
Decision Rules for the Knight of Accord Mini Gear Kit
- If you own the Knight of Accord figure and Tack Kit: This mini gear kit is a natural addition. It completes the jousting look with matching lance, shield, and helmet, enhancing your display without breaking the bank. Check that your figure's color scheme matches the kit's paint before purchasing.
- If you're building a jousting scene: The lance and shield are essential for a dynamic jousting pose. The helmet offers an alternative display option, giving you more versatility. Consider how you'll pose the figure to make the most of the accessories.
- If you're on a budget or just starting: At $6.49 (compared to $9.99), this kit is an affordable way to add detail to your collection. It's a low-cost test to see if you enjoy accessory kits before investing in larger sets. If you're new to Mighty Steeds, this is a good entry point.
